The Kansas Libertarian Party had a teleconference late Tuesday night with Wink Hartman that both sides say went well but the they want “time to think about and discuss it.”
In the days following the news that oil millionaire and former Republican primary candidate Wink Hartman is considering re-entering the race for Congress, leading Kansas Republicans have been working the phones in an effort to keep Hartman out of the race.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and U.S. Senator Sam Brownback campaigned in Kansas City September 2 where they talked about changes to the education system.
A spokesperson for Wink Hartman confirmed Saturday that the former Fourth District Republican candidate is considering re-entering the race for Congress.
