Sesame Street Parodies Netflix' 'Orange Is The New Black'

Waiting for season five of Orange Is the New Black is like waiting for the theme song to end in the deepest throes of a binge. It was a brilliant storyline and hopefully we will see it continue somewhat this season.

ET also caught up with Jackie Cruz (Marisol "Flaca" Gonzales) and Adrienne C. Moore (Cindy Hayes) earlier this year, and they explained that fans will be happy with how Poussey's death is handled.

In honor of the premiere, Sesame Street has pulled off a G-Rated plush parody of the show called "Orange is the New Snack", and the characters and their antics are absolutely adorable. I feel their pain.

She wasn't always the empathetic character she is now, though and when we first met her in season 1, it was hard to envision what she would become.

Is Orange Is the New Black incapable of producing two great seasons in a row?

Netlix says: 'Orange is the New Black is the outrageous and critically-acclaimed series from Emmy® Award-winner Jenji Kohan about a diverse group of inmates serving time in a women's prison. Season 5 will pick up right from the events of the previous installment in which Daya (Dascha Polanco) pointing a gun at corrections officer Thomas Humphrey's head. Well, Sesame Street stepped up to the plate and delivered as only Sesame Street can. Piper, like she does in the show, upsets Red (Kate Mulgrew in the show) by insulting her nutritional choices.

Brooks actually sees similarities between her character involvement in this prison reform movement and real-world activism that has sprouted in response to the current political climate - especially when it comes to young people who are trying to find a way to get involved but might not know how.

The book-smart inmate was accidentally crushed to death during a tussle between prisoners and guards, speaking a wave of grief and anger.

If not for them, and the show's deft writing, nothing around them would work, and thankfully it all still does. Let us know in the comments!

Snackman rejects Red's cookies and takes out an orange instead. Also, we'd love to see Sister Ingalls (who fought to get Sophia out of SHU, but ended up there herself) and Lolly (sent to Psych after wrongfully admitting to Aydin's murder) return to the main prison - their characters are too good to be in the shadows! Believing him to be a secret agent, she finished Alex's job for her and the duo were left with a corpse on their hands.
