Trial jurors were said to have started the third day of deliberations on Wednesday.

Cosby, 79 and almost blind, is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault in connection with his encounter with Constand; if convicted Cosby faces years in prison.

Cosby is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

The jury of seven men and five women were bused in from Allegheny County near Pittsburgh and have been sequestered in a hotel for the trial.

Jurors have deliberated for more than 21 hours since getting the case Monday. They are still ongoing at this time.

The jurors have asked the judge to reread Cosby's decade-old comments about his relationship with Constand and have revisited the testimony of a Canadian officer who took the initial police report from Constand in 2005. 12 witnesses were called during a week, but there was no forensic evidence. Constand took the stand to testify against Cosby.

The actress accompanied her The Cosby Show co-star into the Montgomery County Courthouse in Pennsylvania on 5 June (17) for the first day of his criminal trial, and told reporters she was there to hear "the truth" and lend her support to the troubled funnyman because "it's what you do" for friends.

While admitting in a 2005 deposition he gave Constand several blue Benadryl pills that night in January 2004, Cosby has always said the incident was consensual.

Constand testified last week that Cosby gave her pills that left her unable to resist his assault.

Another member of the chapter, Claire McCue, added, "I want to join the effort to show our appreciation for people who actually take a very fearless stance and bring their case through the justice system to let them know that we appreciate it". The majority of the alleged abuse happened too long ago to prosecute. She said she got up to leave and found Cosby in the kitchen.

The statement continued: "There was a news story of a high profile individual, who was accused of drugging women and sexually assaulting them".

In the civil deposition, Cosby admitted that he had previously obtained prescriptions for Quaaludes, a powerful sedative, with the intention of giving the drugs to women with whom he wanted to have sex.

"I am just going to have to cross that bridge when I come to it", she said, regarding a guilty verdict. "But in no way is that condoning sexual assault". Cosby has denied any wrongdoing.

Seven women are suing Cosby for defamation in separate lawsuits pending in MA, where Cosby has a home in Shelburne Falls.

Earlier testimony by Gianna Constand, the accuser's mother, suggested that Mr. Cosby tried to buy the family's silence by offering to pay for graduate school.

At the defense table, Cosby cracked a grin as the account mentioned a T-shirt Constand delivered to Cosby as a gift.

Cosby, 79, famous for the Cosby Show which aired from 1984 to 1992 for eight seasons, has been embroiled in charges of sexual predation and improper conduct since 2014.
