Here's why Peter shouldn't be the next 'Bachelor'

Also, Bryan's flawless answers and rehearsed polish raised some red flags with Rachel's family during her home visit, but not enough to stop Rachel from her ultimate decision. But they, too, headed to the fantasy suite. Bryan picks a diamond ring, walks up a long hill to a castle where Rachel waits with a rose in hand.

In retrospect, it probably was always going to be Bryan. The couple said they will, however, make it down the aisle for Rachel's dream winter wedding. In public together for the first time Bryan surprised Rachel by re-proposing to her with the Neil Lane ring he chose earlier that season to replace her "stand in" engagement ring. I will do the same for you.

As fans of the show certainly remember, Bryan was the one who caught her attention from the very start.

The Columbian-American chiropractor gave Rachel a gift of a Spanish dictionary and he told her how to say husband and wife in the language.

"You see the emotional breakup that Peter [Kraus] and I had and he was ready to propose but at that point, I knew that he wasn't the one for me and it was really important for me to not have two men standing up there at the end", she said. From then on, she was clearly smitten by the Colombian although she said throughout the season that she thought he was too good to be true. While we aren't sure who she'll pick in the end, we DO know that she's now in love and planning to get married.

"It's so amusing to me, I've never been one to settle or to be desperate for anything...that's why I was 32 and still single", she told Seacrest. Glowing and giddy, they exchanged some kisses. And then Peter wonders out loud: Should I go home?

In studio, Peter joined the pretty attorney for an interview and she said she was still confused by his behavior.

Do you think they will last?

Alas, not much was resolved and Peter couldn't get off the stage quick enough.

"We're going to be together, and I'm going to wake up next to this woman for the rest of my life", Abasolo said.

"I was very excited to introduce Bryan to my family, but I felt like my excitement wasn't reciprocated by my family", Lindsay said during the hometown episode. He still has feelings for Rachel, but they both wish each other the best. He tells her again and again how he loves her, but Rachel seems distracted.

In Rioja, Spain, Peter asks her what happens if he isn't ready to propose, she tells him honestly that she still wasn't prepared to hear the actual words and when she did she didn't realize how deep her feelings are for him. "I see my future". So, let me be the first to say: Hello, Mrs. Abasolo. He drops to one knee, she pretends she is shocked, and Rachel gets her fairy tale ending.

Bryan gets the first go, and he and Rachel take to the skies in a hot air balloon because nothing says love like putting your faith in wicker transportation. She had also remained contestant in ABC franchise "The Bachelorette" previous season.
