"Her beauty will be particularly remembered because she was an extraordinary attractive woman, but also that sense of tragedy, that sense of dying still young and lovely, which impacted on all of us", Flint said. She regained consciousness and looked at me and said, "Oh my God, what's happened?"'
Charity chiefs from organisations associated with Diana met the royals after their tour and Harry told one group of campaigners about how his mother's death was a tragedy for them as well as his family.
Just two months before the crash, Stickland had come face to face with her favorite royal.
John, who rewrote the words to his song "Candle in the Wind" to perform at Diana's funeral, shared a photo with the princess on Instagram this morning (above) along with the caption, "20 years ago today, the world lost an angel". While the somber anniversary approached, both princes have opened up about their memories of their mother and how she continues to be a part of their lives. "As far as I knew when she was in the ambulance she was alive and I expected her to live", he added.
On the 10th anniversary of Diana's death in 2007, Prince Willaim and Harry gave John the honour of opening and closing a Wembley Stadium concert they had organised in memory of their mother.
"Those people that caused the accident, instead of helping, were taking photographs of her dying on the back seat", said Prince Harry. "I got people from my office to work very closely with the royal court and how we managed the affair over the next week".
The vehicle crash shocked the world and saw unprecedented expressions of grief from hundreds of thousands of people who felt a connection with Diana. Kate Middleton, very chic and, as usual, was also at her husband's side, to bring him all their support.
"I could see she had a slight injury to her right shoulder but, other than that, there was nothing significant".
Years later Diana is still remembered.

I am sure we can only guess that. Diana was subjected to worldwide media scrutiny and was hounded by paparazzi at every step of her life.
