Players will be able to visit those aforementioned locations and likely even take pictures while they are there as soon as "Assassin's Creed: Origins" is released on October 27. Thus, it's time for Ubisoft to reveal what's planned for life after launch.

The two main DLC packs are called The Hidden Ones and The Curse of the Pharoahs. There's also going to be additional content that will be released free for all players. The roadmap includes content bursts all the way up to March 2018, where the season pass will conclude with "The Curse of the Pharaohs".

Regardless of whether these additions get your juices flowing or not, a lot of it is free, so cool if you enjoy it, no harm if you don't.

The meat and potatoes of the content will be two expansive story missions that build off the campaign, as well as the series' history in general. Before that, the first DLC to launch will be a Roman-themed epilogue to Origins, The Hidden Ones, due in January. It takes place "years" after the original games conclusion. However for this expansion to continue it must go head to head with a Roman force.

All items found in these crates can also be found in the world, it's just a more convenient money-sink for those that master the in-game economy, all without spending real-world money. There'll be a level cap extension too. In each, you'll have access to a new outfit, weapons, shield and mount. Available in November, 2017. The game has different tools available that players can use when they venture into conquering the quests. The Trials of the Gods will arrive 15 days after launch and feature boss battles against Egyptian gods as timed events.

· The Nomad's Bazaar: A wandering merchant gives players daily quests to complete in order to earn mysterious exotic rewards.
