Tying the camera in with the in-home delivery service gives people a reason to buy it, said Garner.
Any new user added to an existing Amazon Business account with Business Prime Shipping will be automatically enrolled in this membership. Just say, "Alexa, show me the [camera name]" to easily see the feed from anywhere in the house. And, in the coming months, Amazon Key will provide customers with easy and convenient professional service scheduling with thousands of providers.
The company said that through an encrypted authentication process, each delivery driver that requests access to a customer's home is verified so that it is the right driver, at the right address and on the set time.

Amazon has unveiled a new service called Amazon Key, and it's very similar to Walmart's new straight-to-your-fridge delivery... with a more limited range.
Prime members who sign up for Key will be alerted by a forthcoming Amazon Key app when a delivery driver arrives with a parcel and can watch the delivery live or view a recorded video clip later.

Amazon Key In-Home Kit starts at $249.99.
Inc. said in-home delivery will be available November 8 in 37 cities, including Atlanta, Cleveland and Denver.
The Amazon Key program is the latest addition to its Prime membership.
Don't want Amazon boxes sitting on the porch? With that, you'll get an Amazon Cloud Cam and a compatible smart lock to mount on your door.
The company said the smart lock can also be used to let in out-of-town guests who want to make themselves at home.
