"Prior to the sale, the OnePlus 5T sale has had strong customer interest, with 2x the number of customers asking to be notified of the sale on Amazon.in, compared to the brand's previous flagship- OnePlus 5", Amazon said.

Back to more important news, though, our review unit should be arriving soon and we'll have all of the unboxing, hands-on, and review goodness to come!

Pei took to OnePlus' forums to share that the OnePlus 5T will receive an update that looks to improve the cameras' low-light performance, particularly when it comes to sharpness. The Chinese tech firm will be starting its sales in India from November 21.

The successor of OnePlus 5 comes with 6-inch 18:9 aspect ratio PAMOLED display with 401 ppi. OnePlus's current efforts on improving low-light imaging capabilities of its new high-end handset are largely focused on allowing the device to capture more details in dark scenarios, as revealed by the company official who didn't elaborate on the matter. We found this feature to be pretty snappy, but for a few misses in low-light conditions.

OnePlus 5T is not much different from the OnePlus 5 in terms of design.

If and when we find any new reports concerning the OnePlus 6T, we will keep you updated.

The remaining OnePlus 5 stocks will likely be sold out before the end of the year, after which the smartphone will be discontinued. So, in case you were planning to buy the OnePlus 5, you can instead opt for the OnePlus 5T now.

The decision by OnePlus is an expected one, especially considering that it does not view the OnePlus 5T as a major upgrade to the OnePlus.

On the camera front, it features a dual-camera setup at the rear panel with a combination of 16-megapixel sensor with aperture f/1.7, Sony IMX 398 sensor, 1.12 micron pixel size, dual LED flash and focal length of 27.22mm, while the secondary camera bears 20 megapixels Sony IMX376K sensor along with aperture f/1.7, 1.0 micron pixel size and focal length of 27.22mm.

Powering the OnePlus 5T is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with an octa-core processor and Adreno 540 GPU. The display is protected by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone features a new Face Unlock feature, which can unlock the smartphone in 0.3 seconds. OnePlus is already working on Android Oreo 8.0 update for its devices and both OnePlus 5 and 5T users can expect the update in early 2018. Also, the earlier OnePlus 3 model which was launched in May was discontinued in October due to the launch of OnePlus 3T.

The OnePlus 5T will be coming in as an upgraded version of the OnePlus 5 and while most people liked the fact that the OnePlus 5T will be coming with a better and bigger display, some people were anxious that the larger device won't be as tough as the OnePlus 5.
