Warren Moon's thoughts on Seahawks' win over Eagles

Daunted by the crowd and special sound effects of CenturyLink Field.

The Seahawks got on the board early when kicker Blair Walsh connected on his 46-yard field goal attempt on Seattle's first drive. The Eagles offense was off kilter. Graham now has nine touchdowns on the season.

The team that beat the Eagles is a flawed one, in a number of different aspects.

Tom Brady went 21 of 30 for 258 yards and an interception, while improving to 27-3 over Buffalo and breaking Brett Favre's National Football League record for most wins by a quarterback against any one opponent.

The Eagles had been averaging a league-best 31.9 points per game, but the Seahawks held Wentz and Co.to a season-low scoring total despite allowing 425 yards.

Carson Wentz completed 29-of-45 passes for 348 yards with a touchdown and an interception in Week 13 against Seattle.

By the end of the Eagles' 24-10 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday night, all of the strengths and weaknesses and X's and O's and positional matchups had been rendered more or less moot. Seattle went up 24-10 four plays later on Wilson's third touchdown pass.

On one particularly ridiculous play, a third-and-8 snap, Wilson ran for 6 yards and then lateraled to running back Michael Davis for another 17 yards and you could just see the Eagles' defensive players dragging, exhausted and frustrated. The win, combined with a loss by the Atlanta Falcons, puts them back in control of a wild-card spot, and leaves them just a game back of the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West with four games left on the schedule - including one against those Rams.

It was a tough way to go down after so many dominating performances. The Seahawks were physical, certainly gabby, and definitely appeared to have gotten into the Eagles' heads.

Turned out that the Eagles fell short on all counts.

"Don't sleep on us, man", Wright said. "We had our chances and we didn't capitalize". The ball bounced around before rolling out of the back of the end zone for a touchback.

The Eagles would have clinched their first NFC East title and playoff berth since 2013, but now they'll have to wait at least another week to wrap up those accomplishments. "The key is bouncing back the right way".

Wilson led the Seahawks to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter after an 11-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jimmy Graham.

The offensive line had one of its better games considering the pedigree of the opponent, though the running game was still hit and miss. They scored touchdowns on 71.8 percent of their red zone trips. Prior to that drive Philadelphia's best shot at a touchdown came in the third quarter but Wentz fumbled near the goal line and Seattle recovered in the end zone.

But Wilson answered with a 73-yard drive that ended with a 15-yard scoring pass to McKissic.

And that's, basically, what happened. The Eagles (10-2) dropped into a dead heat with the Vikings (10-2) for the top seed in the NFC.
