Throughout social media, Roland's peers and colleagues posted about the reporter's disappearance. Other sports journalists are helping get the word out that Courtney has vanished.

She'd already last been seen at around 4 p.m. Saturday when she secured a Houston football preparing camp, KPRC detailed.

No word on what happened during the hours she was missing.

TwitterCourtney Roland, a Houston-based sports reporter, has been reported missing by her family and friends.

The text she sent about the man who followed her from Walgreens was sent at 12:30 a.m. on December 7.

Early on Sunday, Ms Roland's roommate said she received a text that she was concerned a blue truck was following her just after leaving a pharmacy in her own vehicle. She was driving a '15 Silver Jeep Cherokee Plate HZC7778.

Her Jeep later was found with her phone and other personal items inside.

Vara should meet soon thereafter with Roland, however she didn't appear. "I am buying an iPad", according to Click 2 Houston.

Roland hosts a podcast called the AggieYell.

Roland was last seen wearing a camo jacket and orange hat.

Roland's roommate told KPRC that the now-missing woman texted her Saturday, saying a "suspicious" man at a Walgreens was following her.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Houston police department at 832-394-1840.

"She's still having problems with her memory", said Houston Police during a press conference Monday afternoon.
