In his first comments on the matter made during as he met with supporters from a group called "Bikers for Trump" at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. Below is the recorded statement made by Kelly shortly after Manigault-Newman was let go.

The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of NY is reportedly investigating him for bank fraud and campaign finance violations in connection with a six-figure hush money payout he made in 2016 on Trump's behalf to a pornographic actress.

Manigault Newman also wrote in the book she was offered $15,000 a month contract to sign a nondisclosure agreement after she was sacked from the White House a year ago, which she said she turned down. She suggests that it might have been part of a secret document because of the meeting with Cohen. He says if she chooses the later it will create difficulty with respect to her reputation.

She says, "I heard his voice as clear as you and I are sitting here". The Associated Press purchased an early copy.

Current and past White House officials have pooh-poohed her story about the president fighting with the head of the presidential mansion's household staff over his demand for a tanning bed in the residence.

"I think it's incredibly important in Trump world that you protect yourself, because everyone constructs their own reality", Newman told The New York Times on Sunday.

Then-White House press secretary Sean Spicer smiles as he answers a question during a briefing at the White House in Washington, DC, June 20, 2017.

"I was complicit with this White House in deceiving this nation", she admitted".

Manigualt was named by Pres. Donald Trump as his Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison.

And she compares the President's mind to a boring blade, suggesting he no longer pronounces long words correctly and has trouble recollecting his rationale for major decisions, including firing FBI Director James Comey.

She alleges that, during the making of U.S. version of The Apprentice, which Trump fronted for several years, the future president muttered the racial slur "multiple times".

Ms Manigault Newman had indeed been a staunch defender of the President for years, including pushing back, as the highest-profile African-American in the White House, on accusations that he was racist. But she has recordings.

"Donald Trump was uncannily intuitive and extremely perceptive".

For that job, Spicer signed a standard employment agreement.

"Treating someone with love and kindness after abuse is a classic cult tactic", she wrote. "So yes I recorded myself and I have no regret about it".

Miss Newman, whose tell-all book about her White House tenure is released on Tuesday, left the administration in December and says she was threatened by Mr Kelly who told her things could get "ugly" if she did not go on friendly terms.
