Destiny 2: Forsaken Gets an Action-Packed and Emotional Launch Trailer

Monday, 03 Sep, 2018

September's free PlayStation Plus games have officially been revealed.

"Destiny 2" and "God of War III Remastered" headline the free PlayStation Plus games for September 2018.

The good news is that a free Gambit demo is being released on September 1 on PS4, so that everyone can try it out.

If you were disappointed with Microsoft's Games with Gold lineup for September, don't expect to find any relief with Sony's alternative PlayStation Plus. Alongside a new story, new equipment, a new raid, the PvEvP Gambit mode, and expanded content, Forsaken will start the second year of Destiny 2. Destiny 2 Forsaken arrives on September 4 and brings with it the Season of the Outlaw. This move to make the game free before the release is likely to generate interest in the expansion after Destiny 2's rough launch just a year ago. This month's selection is headlined by two heavy-hitters in the form of Destiny 2 and God of War III - Remastered.

Destiny 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with the Forsaken expansion to release for all platforms on September 4th, 2018. Yes, you read that right. Next month's PS Plus games were announced for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. And don't worry, you can still grab August's list of games - but be quick! God of War 3: Remastered features all the over the top mythological action you would expect from the series, but in lovely 1080p 60fps. Not to mention you'll also need Expansions I and II to even play Forsaken.

God of War 3 Remastered is a loving restoration of the 2010 PS3 title, updated for the PlayStation 4. Another World - 2oth Anniversary Edition, QUBE Director's Cut, Foul Play and Sparkle 2 round up the lineup.

And having played it, we could easily see this new mode becoming a firm favourite among fans.
