Mourners, most of whom stood in the rain because of over crowdedness, attend a vigil for the victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue mass shooting at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Pittsburgh, on October 28, 2018. After his surrender, the suspect was taken to nearby Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of his gunshot wounds. Federal prosecutors charged him with 29 criminal counts including violence and firearms offences, and violating US civil rights laws. He did not enter a plea.
