Apple incorporates TRAI’s DND app to avoid ban on iPhones in India

Unwanted calls were tackled with Trai initial release of DND which Google allowed in its Google Play Store back in 2016.

Two other notable additions this year include TikTok, the music video app formerly known as Musicall.y, and Cash App, Square's P2P payments app.

If you have not heard of TRAI DND before, TRAI is short for the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

HDFC has announced to bring back the old mobile banking app later today on Google Play and Apple App Store as it tries to fix the glaring issues in the new application, which is now unavailable for download.

Apple takes 30% commission on sale of the apps, but the company says any issues regarding pricing structure must come from the developers and not the consumers because the commission is paid by the developers. The report states that according to app analytics firm AppBrain, CM File Manager and Kika Keyboard together have been downloaded more than 250 million times.

Apple is now hosting the app- "TRAI DND-Do Not Disturb"- as long as it does not compromise Apple's privacy norms and also meets Trai's objectives. It requires at least iOS 12.1 to run. Alongside these editorial selections, Apple has published top charts for the year across the App Store, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books.

The app also automatically brought the brightness down to its lowest level when the authorization screen was up to reduce the chances that users would notice what was happening.
