The film is slated to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend, however, a cinematic release date has yet to be confirmed.

We know that we probably shouldn't be judging a movie on the trailer alone, but we can judge the trailer for seemingly trying to get the audience on the side of Ted Fucking Bundy.

The notorious serial killer is the subject of a new Netflix docu-series, Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, that's been setting social media on fire. It's titled, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.

The killer, who once described himself as "one the most cold-hearted son of a b**** you'll ever meet", was executed in the electric chair at Florida State Prison in 1989. It also includes testimonies from several women who met the serial killer but survived to tell the tale, including one below.

During a rare visit to death row from the sheriff who put him there, Bundy came close to confessing the Tallahassee murders.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil & Vile also stars Angela Sarafyan, Jim Parsons, Haley Joel Osment, Dylan Baker, Jeffrey Donovan, John Malkovich, Kaya Scodelario, and so many more.

Ted Bundy is so in right now. Elizabeth falls head over heels in love with Ted and seems to have found a match made in heaven. until it all falls apart. A picture of domestic bliss, the two seem to have it all figured out.

While his new locks were certainly eye-catching, he kept the rest of his outfit simple - rocking just jeans, a black tee shirt and a zip-up hoodie.

However, that doesn't mean Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile will be a bad movie. "There's a lot of serial killing in this country, and yet the name "Bundy" always floats to the top", director Joe Berlinger told Rolling Stone.

Well, the physical similarities aren't as obvious now - the star touched down at Sundance Film Festival having bleached his hair and he looks pretty different.
