Hemsworth later shared an image of both Cyrus and Wilson from the premiere on Instagram, apologising for his absence and thanking his wife for her support on the day.

Cyrus attended the movie premiere in lieu of her new hubby, explaining via an Instagram post that Hemsworth was too sick to make an appearance.

And what a mesmerizing performance it was, featuring several of Parton's greatest hits, sung in tandem with an array of supertalents including Miley Cyrus (who is her goddaughter), Katy Perry, Little Big Town, Maren Morris and Kacey Musgraves.

Cyrus attended in his stead, looking like a Valentine's Day-inspired dream in a sheer red Maison Valentino gown with ruffles galore and a dramatic train. "He just had some health things, and I think that's most important [because] entertainers, we have a really hard time taking care of ourselves".

She continued, "So happy to see him shining in this comedy!"

"I'm crying over dolly parton pls she's my favorite person in the whole wide world", tweeted one.

Hemsworth had also been expected to be by his new wife's side at the Grammys, but Cyrus instead attended with her parents, Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus.

The artist previously mentioned that she would be at the Isn't It Romantic premiere alongside Liam tonight so if they show up, it will be proof that Liam is doing much better health-wise. I am proud to represent him and his incredible work.

Liam and Miley, who have been together for a number of years, officially tied the knot in December. "I'm representing for him", she said, according to USA Today. "Thanks for the support babe". "I love you. Play that sax you sexy f**k", Cyrus captioned a photo of herself on the red carpet as she stood in front of a billboard of Hemsworth playing the saxophone. Accordingly, look-a-here was a game with a colleague from the Rebel Wilson (38, "Pitch Perfect") to "Extra": "Yes, he has written to us this Morning, [Liam] was in the hospital overnight, so he should hopefully get better soon".
