Game of Thrones release 'official tease' for season eight

Wednesday, 03 Apr, 2019

Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams pose for photos together outside of the Good Morning America studios on Tuesday morning (April 2) in New York City.

"What?! Are you kidding me?" And so it's this really graphic, horrifying scene I was 16 and I was alone and I had just left school.

Maisie then narrates her journey with the Hound in season 3 and how it was a defining moment for her and the fans.

The pair, who are yet to discover they could very likely be related, both have torn expressions as Dany stares into the fireplace and Jon walks out. "That was what spiraled her whole arc", Williams said of the first season shocker. Watch the latest teaser above, then drop a comment with your thoughts! It's also the website you are now on.

"There are so many, but in terms of things that have really defined her, I think, number one would be Ned's beheading in Season One". There was no way I wasn't gonna come back for Season 8 but I think the story is almost ready to be completely told...it's a little bit into a little sadness but I'm proud that I've been a part of it for four years...

Though it was clearly a prank, some fans remained convinced Williams had in fact revealed some juicy details about the closely guarded storyline of the HBO fantasy epic's final seasson-whether she meant to or not. "I guess last season she reunited with Sansa (Sophie Turner) again, so that was a pretty big moment".

After hearing our predictions about who's going to survive and who is going to perish under frightful circumstances, be sure to share your opinions with us in the comments section. However, what's more important is the strong symbolism of the items the camera focuses on after it pulls away from the ruined Stark flag at the beginning.
