Star Wars Films Will Go on Break After Episode IX

We could get another Forceback scene, which might be what is shown in the new trailer.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has a December 20, 2019 release.

The latter two - alluded-to in an alleged leak earlier today - would be particularly poignant, given of course that the first ever Star Wars movie was subtitled A New Hope.

The ninth and final episode in the Skywalker saga now has an official title: "Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker".

While talking about the chronology of the movie, film's director J J Abrams said, "This movie, in addition to being the end of three trilogies, it also has to work as its own movie".

It's not just newcomers Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Kylo (Adam Driver), and Poe (Oscar Isaac) returning. But, by the end, with the Emperor's laugh, I wondered if he was the first Skywalker. He also said that "Star Wars: Episode IX" would be a hit.

She embraces Rey (Daisy Ridley), while Luke Skywalker's voice is heard saying: "We'll always be with you". On the other hand, we got exhausted of calling it Star Wars: Episode IX well over a year ago. It's the kind of thing that has been ingrained in me for so long that now, whenever new Star Wars content comes out, I start screeching into the void about it. "Lando never really left me", Williams said.

Fans reacted to the new United Airlines Star Wars plane designs on social media.

"This is an adventure that the group goes on together", he teased, although he wouldn't reveal whether or not that meant the group on stage or some other combination. But when will we see them?

Then we see Rey hold onto a device presented to her in the last Star Wars film. The teaser is built around a Luke Skywalker voiceover, suggesting Mark Hamill's role following Luke's death is likely more significant than a cameo.

She added: "I think I can confirm there are no more semi-naked Kylos".

There are also panels on the upcoming Disney+ show The Mandalorian, the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and a look back at Star Wars Rebels.
