'Game of Thrones' Season 8, Episode 3 Trailer: War Is Coming

Above is HBO's trailer for Game of Thrones season 8, episode 3, where the Night King and the Army of the Dead attack the Stark stronghold. However, many fans were baffled by this decision, knowing that the Night King has the power to not only raise the freshly dead, but also reanimate dusty old skeletons, as we saw at the Three-Eyed Raven's cave. Jon did seem more disturbed last episode by learning that Ned Stark lied to him, but he appears to have now realized that this incest thing also isn't so good. Note to self, never make romantic plans ahead of a battle against the army of the dead.

Tyrion Lannister [Peter Dinklage] and Jorah Mormont [Iain Glen] also were seen briefly with anxious looks on their faces. She urged the Dragon Queen to meet with Jon Snow, hinting at the importance of their alliance in the conflict to come.

Brienne, the Oathkeeper, the defeater of the Hound who made the Kingslayer a better person just by knowing her, has been more knightly than most of the show's male knights.

A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms opened with Jaime Lannister being questioned by Danerys and Sansa, and only being saved after Brienne vouched for his honor. Cue the title card, and that's the clip complete.

This is going to be the longest battle scene ever committed to film, with the whole battle-focused episode clocking in at one hour and 22 minutes - the longest episode in Game of Thrones history. "Which would obviously not happen in only the 3rd episode, therefore the NK is going to KL". "If I wanted to erase the world of men, I'd start with you". If it really was a burning Winterfell we saw Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen staring at, this means the living will lose this battle and retreat further south (and we may witness some major deaths). To be honest, I thought he would be more involved in Jaime's...trial? "You'd have a claim to the Iron Throne". "That's not the show's style and it's not Miguel's style". And overall, it just was a great episode of Game of Thrones (here's our full review).

Added Arya Stark actress Maisie Williams, "The hard work pays off on this show". It doesn't look like the Heart tree, but the Godswood has a number of trees surrounding that iconic one.
