Cersei's guards rushed him but he killed them easily.
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) went completely mad and burned King's Landing to the ground, killing almost everyone on the show.
Last week's episode ended with tension at an all-time high for the hit fantasy series as the White Walkers approached Winterfell, teasing the massive upcoming battle that took a total of 55-nights to shoot. Daenerys knew she needed to keep moving forward and accept the dangers of the pyre - and the possible birth of her dragon eggs - if she was to regain the trust of the remaining Dothraki. She headed for the Red Keep but chose to burn everything along the way - including innocent men, women and children. Tyrion is the current hand of Daenerys, though their relationship seems to be on shaky ground.
After decimating King's Landing in a fit of madness following the ringing of the the bells to signal surrender, Daenerys officially conquered Westeros. But that will change about halfway through the episode.
The Mother of Dragons started out with no particular capabilities in battle or in leadership. Similarly, the way that GOT can't let Sansa rule the North without men underestimating her left and right, brings up similar worries. Once she learns of Cersei's first win against Daenerys and Jon, she will begin to plot against Daenerys and for getting Jon onto the Iron Throne.
Her followers are fiercely loyal and stay with her because they see her as their protector. But she wouldn't mind having someone powerful close to her. He then made sure to be waiting when Jon arrived at Dragonstone to speak to him about his plans. And if it ensures Daenerys' demise, all the better. Dany's army, led by Jon and Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson), advanced with confidence and fought back Cersei's army easily.
It's been pretty clear this season what direction Daenerys is headed. But the question arises - whose side are Tyrion Lannister and Jaime Lannister on - Dany or Cersei Lannister? The chances of any sort of happy ending are long gone; let's just hope to break even at this point.
She thought about it. she thought about it. but in the end, Daenerys proved to be just as mad and cruel as her father. Jon Snow, Grey Worm, and the rest of Dany's men come upon Cersei's soldiers. Only a few more hours until we find out the truth! It's hard to remember how much gold Cersei paid for their services, but whatever the figure, it's fair to say she over-paid.
A new fan theory speculates that this is exactly the case. Arya may have no choice but to take out the Dragon Queen.
We also got to see The Mountain out of his suit of armour and to be fair it was terrifying.
