One down: Eric Swalwell expected to end presidential bid

Pelosi and Clyburn will be 80 and Hoyer 81 after the next election.

Eric Swalwell has left the Democrat presidential race, which means the field has been reduced to everyone except Eric Swallwell, who once declared "I am you", which means that by leaving the race, all of us have left the race and the field is empty. "My presidential campaign ends today". I hope to be part of the field as it shrinks.

McConnell's team also posted comments from Swalwell made over the weekend, in which the Democrat said McConnell would not be re-elected in 2020 and could therefore not block gun control legislation pushed by a Swalwell administration and passed by a Democratic-controlled House.

"I promised my family, constituents and supporters that I would always be honest about our changes", the Democrat from California said. Bernie Sanders, and former Vice President Joe Biden to support a ban on and buyback of all the assault weapons in America as an accomplishment that he had by running for President. Kamala Harris, who are all now polling nationally in the top 10 for their party's nomination. Strategists say candidates will be forced to take a hard look at their overall status and decide whether or not they can muster the finances to carry on. I already profiled Swalwell's campaign alongside other low-profile Democratic Reps.

The San Francisco billionaire, a former hedge fund chief, aims to enter the race for the Democratic nomination this week, according to a source close to Steyer.

"I'm going to take some time, I'm going to be looking at who will elevate the issue of gun violence as their top issue, and to promise Americans that we don't have to live this way", he said. But make no mistake, just because Swalwell is gone from the Democratic debate stage doesn't mean Democrats will abandon their anti-gun rhetoric or their plans to try to confiscate your guns should they ever obtain the power to do so. Swalwell succeeded, and he was reelected three times.

"What my district will find is a congressman who's reinvigorated and ready to bring these issues front and center", he said.

"If we didn't see a path to winning, there was no other reason to stay in", Swalwell told CNN anchor Erin Burnett.

His decision comes two months after announcing his campaign. He promoted her campaign in South Carolina's 4th District in a Tweet on Friday, saying, "We need more young moms in Congress!"

Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) speaks to reporters in the spin room before the second night of the first Democratic presidential debate on June 27 in Miami, Florida.

Swalwell declined to endorse a candidate in the primary, though he joked about supporting U.S. Women's Soccer Team Co-Captain Megan Rapinoe, should she decide to run.

In 2010, he was elected to the Dublin City Council.
