Donald Trump Attacks Al Sharpton In Latest Twitter Tantrum

Wednesday, 31 Jul, 2019

That's really what this latest hubbub over Trump's calling out Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) and the deplorable conditions of Baltimore is all about.

TIME Magazine reported at the time that Trump's comments were revealed in a transcript of a phone call with the president of Mexico on January 27.

Trump initially tweeted out some harsh remarks about politician Elijah Cummings and Baltimore over the weekend.

Lee went on to say that although her father is portrayed as an "arrogant a-hole" and "the one with all the puffery" who initiates the fight, that's "not how he was". Three of the four, including Massachusetts Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, were born in the U.S. The other is a longtime U.S. citizen. His walkout was followed by cheers of "Trump".

Facing some criticism from a smattering of Republican lawmakers, Trump briefly distanced himself from the chants - before fully embracing the chanters as "incredible patriots".

"The general assumption with everything Squad-related is this helps shore up our base".

President Trump will deliver a good speech, I am certain of that. "It was not only inconsistent with common decency, it was also a violation of the rules of the House", said Cox in a statement.

"It was the beginning of a very barbaric trade in human lives", Trump said.

"In the face of grave oppression and grave injustice, African Americans have built, strengthened, inspired, uplifted, protected, defended and sustained our nation from its very earliest days", Trump said. "And the president's not hiding", he said.

Trump has shown no sign of reversing course.

He has stoked racial tensions with attacks on minority Congress members. It was just one in a string of racist attacks against non-white Democratic figures.

President Donald Trump says black legislators planning to boycott his appearance at a Virginia event commemorating the 400th anniversary of the rise of American democracy are going "against their own people". But this time, a Republican is hitting back hard.

Republicans are funding an opposition research campaign targeting the four lawmakers, and the Trump campaign has been disseminating talking points highlighting their controversial statements and liberal policies.

The Morning Joe hosts are now in their own Twitter war with Trump, and it also includes some flashbacks to past, different behavior by Joe and Mika. "That's not something that I feel terribly comfortable with". "When you take it in its totality, don't you see a fairness?"

Sanders appears to have given up on his opinions from previous years, recently focusing on condemning Trump instead.

"They came in search of opportunity and fortune", Mr. Trump said.

"He keeps coming back to this racist trope because he's a racist". But those numbers flip among Democrats and black voters. I never get an answer.

During the course of his presidency, Republicans have been reluctant to criticize Trump for his controversial comments on a range of issues with many claiming not to have seen his tweets. "Word is the Democrats will make it as uncomfortable as possible, but that's ok because today is not about them!" "I doubt that's what the president was trying to do but I just think, you can attack Rep. Cummings and his record and what he's done but I think there's no need to attack the people of Baltimore".

He has referenced Northam and his abortion comments - accusing him of infanticide - during at least one rally since January and during his State of the Union. We'll find out on the night of November 3rd, 2020. (Source) Will it work?
