The winter version of Love Island are already looking for applicants

An ITV spokesperson told Express.co.uk: "Sherif left this series of Love Island by mutual agreement after breaking the rules and there are no plans for him to appear at this weekend's Aftersun Reunion".

Maura Higgins also defended her fellow Love Island cast mate, saying: "Molly-Mae is the most genuine girl I've ever met in life, she's incredible".

He also had a bromance with professional dancer Curtis Pritchard, who is the brother of Strictly Come Dancing star AJ, and was teased by his co-stars for his poor dancing and cooking skills.

Despite being touted as favourites to win, runners-up Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague earned only 25.6% - around half that of Greg and Amber.

India Reynolds and Ovie Soko have even been posting snaps of one another, with the model revealing he finally asked for her phone number when they returned to home soil.

The fifth series of Love Island has been a huge hit, with millions tuning in to the 49 episodes in the eight-week series, which ended on Monday night with the live grand final, presented by Caroline Flack.

Back in May, Chloe revealed she had split from Harry shortly after filming wrapped up because they weren't "compatible" with each other.

She said her comments were a "shame" insisting: "There were no tactics used at all".

"I have nothing against her, we just didn't speak in the villa".
