Jerry Stiller may be best known to modern audiences for playing George Costanza's cranky father Frank in Seinfeld.

The 66-year-old comedian paid tribute online to Stiller who died at the age of 92 from natural causes.

Leah Remini said that while she was "lucky enough" to have Jerry play her dad on King of Queens for nine years, but called herself "luckier to know him, the man, the husband, the father, the grandfather". "He will be greatly missed", the younger Stiller tweeted, adding, "Love you Dad".

Jerry Stiller, fan-favorite "Seinfeld" actor, father of Ben Stiller, and veteran of stage and screen, has died at 92. "I'm actually right now putting [together] all footage of my parents [to] try and maybe make some sort of documentary", Ben told Stephen Colbert at the Montclair Film Festival (via Page Six). "A great actor, a great man, a lovely friend", he said.

Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, meanwhile, expressed in a tweet, "Sending you love Ben. I adored this man".

Jerry Seinfeld shared a tribute, posting a photograph of himself holding "The Final Two Individuals within the World", a 1967 comedy album from Stiller and his spouse, Anne Meara. The couple had a successful comedy duo, Stiller And Meara, during the '60s and '70s, often appearing on The Ed Sullivan Show.

It jump-started the septuagenarian's career, landing him a spot playing Vince Lombardi in a Nike commercial and the role of another over-the-top dad on the long-running sitcom King of Queens. "Thank you, Jerry, for your brilliant comedic prowess".

"So sorry. He made me snort until I cried on many events", Rogen wrote on Twitter.

They began performing together at the company The Compass Players (later becoming The Second City).

"Jerry Stiller, may he rest in peace". Jerry also spent many years as one half of the comedy duo Stiller and Meara, alongside his wife Anne Meara. Because the scene slowly progresses, Stiller bellows, "You need a piece of me?!" and the complete set dissolves in laughter. "You will be so very missed Jerry", wrote Remini. "I think we spent 15 minutes just trying to get that little exchange", Alexander said.
