Trump, Biden trade blows as White House race hits final stretch

Biden still has a strong advantage, 55-38 percent, in the heavily Democratic part of the state, the Tuesday poll found.

Two labor-aligned policy specialists, Michael Wessel and Cathy Feingold, are also advising the Biden campaign, as is Todd Tucker, a Roosevelt Institute scholar who has been critical of Trump policies, and of trade policy crafted by Biden's former boss President Barack Obama.

Joe Biden's former White House stenographer said the vice president's public speaking ability has deteriorated significantly since leaving office to the point where he's "not the same Joe Biden".

On Thursday, candidate Biden held a community meeting at a Kenosha church with several local faith leaders, organisers, business owners and first responders, marking a rare, intimate moment in his 2020 campaign to offer a contrasting vision of the United States to the president's violent views, which Mr Biden has said has exploited American vulnerability amid several crises for a campaign of fear.

Ultimately Trump narrowly won all three and must retain at least one and win all the other states he took in 2016 for reelection, while Democrat Joe Biden is highly likely to become president if he flips the Blue Wall back into the Democratic column.

Trump and the RNC have yet to release their fundraising numbers for August. "Neither one of them have met with the woman who says Blake abused her for years and raped her".

Trump also took to Twitter on Tuesday to play down concerns about having enough money to compete in the home stretch of the campaign, underscoring he has "much more" money on hand than he did at this point in the campaign in 2016.

"We are now witnessing the fastest labor market recovery from any economic crisis in world history", Trump told, adding that unspecified projections indicate there would be a "V-shaped" economic recovery. Government officials disclose the value of their assets in broad ranges.

The US has six million cases of coronavirus, the highest in the world. He also listed debts of at least $315 million, including mortgages on Trump Tower in NY and his Washington hotel. Meanwhile, Biden's campaign and the Democratic National Committee have spent about half of that, $414m, according to Bloomberg. At the time, the president's support began to fall in polls amid the coronavirus pandemic and protests over racial injustice sparked by the death of George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis police.

Trump plans to visit North Carolina, Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania later in the week, all considered crucial to both candidates' chances of victory.

But Biden himself has stepped up his campaigning over the past week, traveling to Pittsburgh and Kenosha and holding two news conferences. McCormick said that while Biden was beginning to tell a story about visiting Russia during the Cold War, the Russians cut off his microphone, turned off the press lighting, and led media out of the room. The week will ramp up Wednesday with Vice President Mike Pence campaigning in Beaver and Westmoreland counties before Eric Trump campaigns for his father Thursday in Washington County. "In the 2016 primaries, I put up a lot of money". All four states will be crucial to the prospects of both candidates. Those committees next report to the FEC on October 15.
