Colin Kaepernick Receives Cold Shoulder From NFL Teams After Workout

If someone will just give him a chance.

"He's been working out every day for three years", Reid said. "I've been denied for three years". We all know why I came out here. We all know why I came out to show you today in front of everybody. We have nothing to hide. Former NFL head coaches Hue Jackson and Joe Philbin were set to run the drills. As talks over the waiver broke down, Kaepernick and his team abruptly moved the workout to a high school 60 miles away from the Atlanta Falcons' training facility where the event was supposed to take place.

Even though there are teams who could use Kaepernick, it's hard to imagine any of those teams decide to sign him.

Detroit, Kansas City, New York Jets, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Tennessee, Washington.
The blackballed quarterback agreed to attend, as did 25 of the league's 32 franchises, but the workout fell through after the league attempted to force Kaepernick to sign a waiver to protect itself from future employment lawsuits. The Seahawks were said to want a firmer plan from Kaepernick about all of his off-field activities - including but not exclusively limited to kneeling for the anthem - and how that might impact football.

Kaepernick himself claims to be mentally and physically fit to play again. It was not the sort of session that would likely sway a team one way or the other. And what does Colin Kaepernick do. At the time, he was making headlines for taking a knee during the national anthem before games to protest against racial inequality in the United States.

There is no doubt that Kaepernick has the talent to be in the NFL. "I'll interview with any team at any time". "I've been ready", he said. Kaepernick then moved the venue at the last minute after a dispute over the contract regarding the workout. On Saturday, Kaepernick proved that he is still in remarkable shape and can still throw it deep with accuracy.

Teams that need another QB on the roster saw a strong-armed, well-conditioned prospect who looks like he could start next Sunday. Another person wore a 49ers No. 7 jersey and had a sign that said, "I'm with Kap".

This past weekend, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith unloaded huge criticism toward Kaepernick.

"Saturday! Three hours before the workout because of some issue with a liability waiver".

The lengthy statement ended with, "Colin's decision has no effect on his status in the League". Young Hov's Roc Nation has responded to reports claiming JAY had frustrations toward the free agent quarterback.

"I've got to tell you what, I've got to hand it to Colin". Questions like offers from NFL teams, why he declined re-signing with the 49ers, and if him filing a grievance hindered his standing with the multi-billion dollar league.
