Xbox Series X Games Showcase Scheduled For July 23

Wednesday, 08 Jul, 2020

Microsoft has announced an Xbox Series X games online event for July 23 that would focus on games rather than hardware.

There will be a pre-show at 8am PT with Geoff Keighley and the show proper will begin 9am PT, streaming across all major platforms.

Microsoft is expected to show Halo Infinite, the first title from studio The Initiative and a number of unannounced projects. In a January interview, head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty noted that this means Xbox Series X won't feature any true "next-generation" exclusives for its first year or two of availability.

The stream is set to start at 9:00 US Pacific Time (18:00 South African time) and will be broadcast on Xbox.com, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter. With a catalogue including more than 250 products including controllers, headsets, keyboards, mice and transportation solutions, available in many countries all over the world, NACON keeps aiming to satisfy all video game fans.

The recent Xbox Series X game showcase came and went, and a lot of people were disappointed that it didn't show enough gameplay.

However, rumors suggest that Microsoft will finally reveal more first-party games developed by Xbox Game Studios for its upcoming console.

Which is all but confirmed to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X.

More importantly, Microsoft revealed that the demos that we will be playing during the event are not normal "game demos".
